Who is covered under the Data Protection Policy?
Employees of our company must follow this policy. Contractors, consultants, partners and any other external entity are also covered. Generally, our policy refers to anyone we collaborate with or acts on our behalf and may need occasional access to data.

Policy elements
As part of our operations, we need to obtain and process information. This information includes any offline or online data that makes a person identifiable such as names, addresses, usernames and passwords, digital footprints, photographs, social security numbers, financial data etc.

Our company collects this information in a transparent way and only with the full cooperation and knowledge of interested parties. Once this information is available to us, the following rules apply.

Our data will be:

• Collected fairly and for lawful purposes only
• Processed by the company within its legal and moral boundaries

In addition to ways of handling the data the company has direct obligations towards people to whom the data belongs. Specifically, we must:

• Have provisions in cases of lost, corrupted or compromised data
• Allow people to request that we modify, erase, reduce or correct data contained in our databases

To exercise data protection, we’re committed to:

• Build secure networks to protect online data from cyberattacks
• Establish clear procedures for reporting privacy breaches or data misuse

In this position, you will collaborate with other engineers, customers, internal product development teams, and Underwriter’s Labs. Responsibilities:

· MUST HAVE: Analog, digital and microprocessor based embedded circuit design experience and ambitions. Including mixed-mode electronic circuits, microprocessor-based temperature controls, moto speed controls, switch mode power supplies, and various user interfaces.

· MUST HAVE: Schematic capture tools experience.

· MUST HAVE: High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment juggling multiple concurrent projects.

· Design and improve designs that solve our customers' needs, including designing for UL, IEC and EMI, minimizing unique part counts, designing for manufacturability and designing for good thermal performance.

· Product documentation, including creating product specifications, BOMs, ECNs, prints, wiring diagrams, etc.

· Create thoughtful thermal design, including component selection and layout for thermal consideration given loads, de-rating for ambient specs, and heat sinking options.

· Product documentation, including creating product specifications, BOMs, ECNs, prints wiring diagrams, etc,

· Design verification of controls, including noise testing (ESD, conducted emissions, ring wave, etc.) and thermal chamber testing under load.

· Work closely with customers (primarily engineers) to develop product specifications and requirements.

· Owning projects from start to finish.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Ideally 5 or more years' experience developing embedded electronic controls but will consider less for the right candidate.

· Experience with schematics capture tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.

· BSEE Degree is required.

· U.S. Citizen or authorization to work in the U.S
