Todd Thomas is the President and Partner of Elan Industries and a talented mechanical engineer and businessman who thrives on helping OEMs produce electronic controls that make a difference in their business. In 1999, he spearheaded the merger of Elan Environmental and Excel Controls to form Elan Industries. Prior to that, Todd had a career at what was once Elan Engineering, first as a summer job in college, then selling instrumentation, and finally as a partner in 1996, under the company name Elan Environmental. He also had a stint designing and selling equipment in the wastewater treatment industry during which he earned his Professional Engineering License in Environmental Engineering. Todd earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is married to his incredibly patient and supportive wife, Beth. When he’s not at Elan, you’ll find Todd snowboarding with his family on the nearest slope he can find. Todd is also director of HGNA (Helping Girls Navigate Adolescence) and runs the HGNA Dad’s program that helps men become better fathers to their daughters.
